Zinga was a sweet Champion!
This little PWD was watching the big dogs at the water trials in Pleasanton.
I can't believe my eyes! Does this really say "Poodle-fashion"?

RUSSIAN RIVER DOGS
Molly at Drake's beach
We got Molly, our Portuguese Water Dog, from Linda Campbell at Camlin Kennels when she was about six months old. Linda had held her back to show but had not been able to socialize her for the show ring due to illness. She was clearly a dog who had been loved- as she immediately hopped up on our couch when we brought her home. You wouldn't believe the incredulous look on her face when she discovered she wasn't going to be allowed on the bed!  Mornings are Molly's favorite time of day. She likes to wake up nice & early and then stand up on her back legs to give me lots, and lots of kisses.

It took a bit of work to help her through her misgivings about traffic and being "downtown", but all in all, she adapted fairly quickly to the change from Angels Camp to Guerneville. We have a big fenced in yard with a bog pond that Molly can flop into on warm summer days, or sometimes she just likes to chase the goldfish. She has two favorite places to run- at the beach around the corner and at the orchard around the other corner.
WEBSTER!
Molly with her  groomer, Leslie Craig formerly of Who Does Your Dog in Marin.  She has re-located to the river and now has a mobile grooming business, the WIZARD OF PAWS. Molly caught a ride recently and came home looking like a champ. Thanks Les! That is Vada next to Leslie. Vada always looks stunning.
